Occupational Safety and Health Awareness and Hazard Recognition

Audience: Managers, Supervisors, Maintenance Personnel, Employee Safety Committee Members, other responsible for workplace safety under 29 CFR 1910 or 29 CFR 1926.

Duration: 5 days

Objective: Provide basic understanding of 29 CFR 1910 (industrial safety) and 29 CFR 1926 (construction safety) standards and regulations requirements, and the recognition of related occupational safety and health hazards. Includes extensive facility walk-thorough, classification of hazards, hazard abatement, interfacing with enforcement groups, and developing OSHA-required programs.
