Audience: Managers, Supervisors, Maintenance Personnel, Employee Safety Committee Members, other responsible for workplace safety under 29 CFR 1910 or 29 CFR 1926.
Duration: 1 day
Objective: Provide basic understanding of the OSHA inspection process, citation process, and how to interface with OHSA Compliance personnel before, during, and after an inspection.
Taught by a former OSHA official, this program helps you make what can be a difficult situation value-added and much less painful. It includes:
Preparation: What to do, including how to prevent OHSA from showing up
The inspection: The process, how to deal with inspectors, what to expect, what to do and not do.
After the inspection: Citation policy and processes, abatement/correction, follow-up, contesting a citation
